Once you arrive at your destination, you will be welcomed in the most prestigious and famous winery in Franciacorta: Berlucchi.
Here, Guido Berlucchi, one of the greatest pioneers of this area, began what is now one of the most famous sparkling wines in the world, the Franciacorta method. In this territory, the climatic conditions and the soils form a condition similar to the famous Champagne area from which the idea of producing very high quality wines was born.
Weather permitting, you will pass through the Brolo vineyard, a plot dedicated solely to the production of Riserva Palazzo Lana. You will have access to the ancient cellars, you will pass through the frescoed rooms of Palazzo Lana, a noble historic residence built in the sixteenth century by the Lana De Terzi family and later by the Berlucchi. Inside you can admire the portrait of Caterine Cornaro, Queen of Cyprus and the paintings representing the Castle of Brescia and the equestrian-themed figures of the Horse Salon.
